From 28 March to 6 April 2023, the inspiring Kaross Foundation is curat- ing an exhibition of artworks created by secondary school learners from N’wamitwa and Xihoko, close to Tzaneen.

Shamein Ngomana, ECD practitioner at Pfuka Rixile, a daycare centre partnering with Kaross Foundation, shares her vision for the centre and the advantages of sending a child to daycare. We also speak about reading to your baby and young children and the disadvantages of exposing your child to TV at an early age.

Reading empowers! Librarians from our newly built local library in Runnymede informed listeners of all the advantages of using the library. We discussed the importance of reading and reading with your child from a young age. Parents play a crucial role in improving their children’s reading skills, it is not only the work of the school teacher.

Bullying is a common occurrence in schools, what can we do when we are being bullied and what are the motives behind bullying. Connection and allowing a child to explore builds confidence.
